Wednesday, September 21, 2011 The Region News Page 5 Notice to Residents and Businesses The Mt. Zion Band Boosters are sponsoring "Marching Music Games" on Saturday, September 24th. The Marching Music Games is a band competition, which features a parade and field competition. Parade step-off will be at 3:46 P.M. and will begin at the entrance of the Mt. Zion Library on Braves Parkway. Bands will march west on East Main Street, turn south onto Henderson Street, and proceed to the Mt. Zion Junior High School Parking Lot. Traffic from Rte. 121 will be rerouted to Broadway and then to East Main. Traffic from S. Henderson will be routed south during this time. Bell Street will be open during the parade. Elm Street will be open to local traffic from Bell Street. The parade will start at 3:30 p.m. and last until approximately 5:30 p.m. Emergency vehicles and farm machinery will be the only exceptions.
